Dachshunds originated in Germany, where they were bred to hunt badgers and other small animals. Their long lean bodies and short legs enabled them to easily enter the holes of these burrow dwellers. Later, when they came to the United States, they were put to work as well. This time they were taught to flush out prairie dogs.
Now, though, the average dachshund does little more than look cute, while its people cater to its needs. Not surprisingly, because this breed is so popular, a number of dachshund-related home and kitchen products have appeared. Dachshund owners will love this clean/dirty dishwasher magnet that you can flip to tell other members of your household the status of the dishes sitting in your dishwasher.Buy Now
