Feed the Kitty Board Game

Preschoolers love board games, and this is one they’ll want to play for hours and hours. It is a very simple, but fun game.

Board games are extremely useful for helping children build social skills, because they must wait their turn, and coach their opponent if he or she dodges a rule, or forgets to take a turn. These games facilitate communication, since players must talk to one another as the game progresses. Such activities are extremely helpful for a shy, or socially awkward child.

This game is played with dice, and you lose a turn if a sleeping kitty shows up. Otherwise, you pass around plastic mice, or you feed some of these to the kitty. Or, you may be instructed to collect another mouse. The object of the game is to keep your mice. The last player with any mice wins the game.
