The coolness never ends with the LEGO Star Wars Death Star!
The first thing you should know is, this thing is not to scale and the death ray doesn’t work. No matter, the Force is more powerful than any death ray.
I must admit, growing up in the 70’s was a blast. Seeing the first Star Wars movie on the big screen was one of the highlights of my childhood. I was only 8 years old when it came out in theaters, and for years, it was the only thing me and my friends talked about.
We had tons of action figures, space ships, and light sabers to play with. We went from playing cowboys and Indians, to Darth Vader vs Luke Skywalker. If I had known that all those toys would be worth something one day, I still would have ripped them out of their cases and played with them.
Now, here I am in my forties and I still love me some Star Wars. I do not have a large collection, just a few pieces I have picked up here and there to remind me of simpler times, but for some reason, I had to have the Lego Death Star toy.
I liked Legos as a kid, but I was more of a puzzle kind of guy. When I saw this, it reminded me of a Lego-3D- Star Wars puzzle. It had all the makings of a fun, challenging, rainy day project that my kids could play with after I was done.
For the most part, I was right, it was a blast to build, but after I got it all put together, there was no way I was going to let my kids mess it up.
You do not have to be a Star Wars fanatic to have one of these, just be a kid at heart and have the patience of a Saint.Buy Now
