Stir-fry cooking is a traditional Chinese technique which has been used and valued by professional and home cooks for many centuries. You’ll find everything from traditional Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese dishes to more European-style recipes which show the versatility of cooking in a wok. Learn to prepare classic dishes like Pad Thai, Larb, Singapore Noodles, Mongolian Lamb, Chicken and Cashew Nuts, Tempeh with Chinese Greens, and Salt-and-Pepper Squid. But then you’ll also find unique dishes like Hot Italian Salad, Minted Pesto Lamb, Chicken with Olives and Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Vegetables Provencale, and Salmon with Leek and Camambert in Honey Mustard Sauce. Every recipe is pictured in full-color plated photographs and also illustrative photos to show techniques and methods in expert detail.

This is personally one of my favorite cookbooks, and one I go back to regularly for new ideas as well as family recipes which I get requested to prepare all of the time. Some of those favorites include the Curried Chicken Noodles (photographed above), Garlic and Ginger Prawns, and Peppered Lamb and Asparagus. I thoroughly recommend this cookbook for its excellent recipes, tempting photography, and easy-to-follow instructions.
