Parents that regularly do hobby and craft projects with their kids, tend to be blessed with creative children. So is it just a genetic thing? Are the parents special, or is it just a result of routinely doing more and more hands-on projects?
Let’s put it this way: what sounds like more of a personality-developing activity: passively watch TV cartoons.. or make a decorative wall mural together with your parents? I’ll choose doing more creative projects and art with kids anytime. I rate “creativity” as a principal quality in life that leads to harmony and self-assured, stable character.
The Artful Parent shown here has over 60 projects that you can do together with children from 1 to 8 years old.
Doing art and crafts with the youngest kids is a fun and stimulating way to spark an interest in learning. It seems like a straight-forward formula, so why doesn’t it always work?
My tip to increase success rate:
Let the kids lead sometimes. It might teach you something too! 😉Buy Now
