Laurel Burch Horse Hobo Bag

Laurel Burch was a San Francisco artist who died in 2007, but her memory lives on in her licensed work. Apparently, among all of God’s creatures, she loved cats and horses very much, as they comprise many of her animal-themed designs.

The design shown above is a medium-sized hobo bag that measures 14 by 9-inches, and, as you can see, the bold, vibrant pattern is typical of Burch’s style.

This amazing woman has inspired many people. The website that displays her work explains that she grew up in Southern California, but ran away from home as a teenager, in an effort to escape a difficult situation. She later settled in San Francisco, where she found love and acceptance, as well as a growing fan base for her whimsical and colorful creations.
